포토샵에서 batch command 로 여러 파일들을 한꺼번에 png 로 export

포토샵에서 batch command 로 여러 psd 파일들을 한꺼번에 png 로 export 하는법

Action 만들기
1. 메뉴에서 Window > Actions 띄움
2. psd 파일 하나를 아무거나 염
3. Actions 창에서 New 아이콘 누르고 Save As Png 라고 이름 붙여줌 (아무 이름이나)
4. Recording 버튼을 누르고 2에서 열린 psd 파일을 Save As로 png 로 저장한 후 Stop 버튼 눌러줌
5. 이제 액션이 다 레코딩 되었음

Action 사용하기
특정 폴더에 저장된 여러 psd 파일을 모두 png 로 만들어보자.
1. 메뉴에서 File > Automate > Batch
2. Batch 창에서 Action 을 Save As Png 로 선택하고
3. 그 밑의 Source > Folder 를 여러 psd 파일이 저장된 폴더로 정해줌. Source 항목의 체크박스는 모두 비워둠.
4. 그 밑의 Destination 을 Save and Close 로 해줌
5. 그 밑의 Override Action "Save As" Commands 를 체크해줌
6. OK 누르면 png 로의 변환이 실행됨

Apple에서는 요즘 Logic 과 같이 사용되는 장비로 아포지사의 제품을 권장하는 것 같아 보입니다. 가격은 가장 저가형이라 해도, 역시 로직이 전문가용 SW인 관계로, 좀 비싸군요. (출처: GarageBand와 같이 사용하는 장비 2)

Line 6 의 제품을 쓰는게 가장 좋은 솔루션입니다. 가격이 제일 싼 GX 부터 GuitarPort, TonePort UX1, TonePort UX2 가지 다양한 가격대의 제품이 있는데 GarageBand 랑 아주 잘 맞물려 돌아갑니다. 저는 마이크 인풋도 필요해서 TonePort UX1 을 쓰는데 이게 지금 이곳에서는 89불 정도 합니다. 따라오는 GearBox 소프트웨어도 이펙터로 상당한 수준급입니다. 현재 저는 일렉은 Fender Staratocaster 를 어쿠스틱 일렉트릭은 Ovation 을 물려 쓰는데 매우 만족스럽습니다. 마이크 인풋도 XLR 잭으로 되어 있어 좋구요. GarageBand 를 이용한 간이 홈 레코딩은 Line 6 제품을 강추합니다.

최근 애플 소식을 전문으로 전하는 ‘컬트 오브 맥’(Cult of Mac)에 애플 제품과 독일 가전회사 브라운 제품의 디자인을 비교한 글이 올라와 눈길을 끌고 있다... 대표적인 예로 등장한 것은 2001년에 등장한 아이팟이다. 아이팟은 1958년 브라운사의 T3 포켓 라디오와 디자인이 유사하다. 또한 iMac 컴퓨터는 1959년 출시된 브라운의 LE1 스피커와, 아이폰 속 계산기는 1977년에 나온 ET44와 유사하다... 애플의 수석 디자이너 조나단 아이브가 디터 람스에게 큰 영향을 받았다고 고백한 바 있기 때문.

A lot of the focus of this release will be on the new Character Animation tools, but modo has had the ability to animate for years now, although there was no comprehensive toolset for character animation. modo 601 is the capstone to Luxology's slow and sure building up of the program's animation features. With the addition of Character Animation, which includes fast skeleton creation, a full body Inverse Kinematics solver and a very useful pose tool, modo 601 is now a full-featured animation package. Something I think indie 3D filmmakers (and many other artists) are going to be very interested in.

Pose Tool / Pose Space Sculpting – The Pose Tool allows you to create poses and positions with a model, without complex rigging. You can still sculpt the mesh as well. These two tools are extremely powerful in creating precise and correct character animation.

Hello all,

I have a question. Does XSI supports pose space deformation?
If you are not familiar with the term, it is the process of sculpting a corrective shape to geometry oriented by a bone, and this sculpting takes place in the pose space of the orientation.
For example you have an arm controlled by a bone, you rotate the bone at the elbow and at this pose you sculpt the biceps bulging. When you orient the bone in this pose the biceps will bulge.

I hope you can understand what I mean since English is not my native language!

Look up "Link with orientation" in the manuals

The "Link with orientation" can do what you want.
However in XSI , this corrective shapes are happen in object space (in the shape modeling mode) instead of pose/joint space( after envelope). So technically it's not a pose space deformation. Hopefully XSI willl implement such a feature in future.

, and without knowing how to use XSI it gives me the impression that the problem of pose space deformation is solved. Can you verify?

Technical Director (Rigging)의 Job Description (Pixar)

I. About Pixar
Pixar Animation Studios, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, is an Academy Award®-winning film studio with world-renowned technical, creative and production capabilities in the art of computer animation. Creator of some of the most successful and beloved animated films of all time, including Toy Story, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E and most recently, Up. The Northern California studio has won 21 Academy Awards® and its ten films have grossed more than $5 billion at the worldwide box office to date. The next film release from Disney/Pixar is Toy Story 3 (June 18, 2010).

II. Summary of Position
A Character Rigger/Modeler/Articulator is responsible for working with Art Designers and Animators to realize a character in digital form. This includes both shaping the the character's 3D geometry and the delivery of a well-designed set of animation controls for manipulating that geometry. The three main disciplines are modeling, rigging and rig building.

An applicant for a rig position is expected to be very strong in at least 2 of these areas. If you have strong artistic skills your two areas of focus might be modeling and rigging. If you are a CG grad, you might be strong in rig construction as you can program, have math skills and you might have a good eye for modeling and motion.

** Please note that this is a 12 - 15 month Run of Project position **

III. Responsibilities

1. MODELING
-- Covers the spectrum of being able to build humans, robots, cars or toys.

Task Description:
-- Using modeling software to sculpt and refine a neutral 3D model to fit the aesthetic needs of Character Designers.
-- Designing and maintaining a modeling topology conducive to the storyboarded range of deformations.

Reel Guidelines:
-- On a reel we look for examples of digital sculpting of organic forms such as faces or bodies as well as a variety of works and styles. The best presentations include a turntable showing the final result and a turntable with the mesh so we can evaluate topology. Modeling is an artistic endeavor so showing examples of drawings or clay sculpts will help. Showing cloth modeling and/or hair modeling will also strengthen a reel.

2. RIGGING
-- The process of giving a character controls for movement, therein "articulating" its ranges of motion. We like to think of it as bringing the character to life.

Task Description:
-- Working closely with Animators to provide and refine an articulation of the full range of expressions and body movement needed to support a character's acting range in the film. A truth to materials/anatomy and animation principles is emphasized, as is patience and a willingness to experiment!
-- Creative use of deformers to achieve a specific deformation called for by Animation with a concise set of animation controls.

Reel Guidelines:
-- What we look for in a reel is examples of rigging that support the type of character that is being attempted. A realistic character will have be true to the materials it is made out of. A cartoony character might have Tex Avery touches. Since rigging serves animation showing examples of animation will strengthen the reel.

3. RIG BUILDING
-- The process of building and supporting rigs that a group of riggers can apply to a set of characters.

Task Description:
-- Designing and maintaining Master Rigs that can be re-used as a basis for articulating similar characters, or applying existing Rigs to newly created character sculpts.
-- Writing scripts to facilitate workflow improvements in Python or MEL, or working with a programmer to enable them to make such improvements effectively.
-- Brainstorming new techniques and ideas for user interfaces, deformation tools, and character specific rigging solutions.
- Troubleshooting technical issues inherent in maintaining a clean file structure and pipelines for both in-house and 3rd party software.
-- Having proficiency in a programming language and math is important.

Reel Guidelines:
-- What we look for in reels are systems that can be used to make faces or bodies. Showing how the controls work and the interface for the animators is important. Descriptive text for the technical designs/tools shown on the reel should be provided on a separate breakdown sheet included with your reel/resume.

IV. Qualifications
-- A good understanding of 3D computer graphics theory and practice.
-- A basic understanding of composition, physical motion, weight, balance, texture and form.
-- Strong programming skills in the UNIX/Linux environment.
-- Education in computer science, mathematics, physics, architecture, or engineering preferred.
-- Experience with film, games, or other graphics production experience preferred.
-- Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
-- Must be able to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure.
-- Must be open to direction and able to embrace change.

magic wand(마술봉)로 선택하면 선택 부위가 alias 되어 보기 안좋을 수 있는데
이럴 때는 위쪽의 툴 옵션에서 Refine Edge 버튼을 눌러서 다음과 같이 해준다
Radius : 0.0 px
Contrast : 50%
Smooth : 0
Feather : 1.0 px
Contrast/Expand : 0%
이정도면 많은 feather 를 주지 않고 계단 효과만 없애는 정도.
