12음을 0123456789⑩⑪ 와 같이 나타내는 방식. CDEFGAB 같은 음이름만으로 화음 분석이 어렵기 때문에 0 = C, 1 = C♯/D♭, 2 = D, ... 같이 나타내는 방식으로 음악이론에서 많이 쓰임

인용 : C=0, C#=1 ... A#=10, B=11, with "10" and "11" substituted by "t" and "e" in some sources. This allows the most economical presentation of information regarding post-tonal materials.
