Bit Depth 와 Sample Rate

Bit Depth
동영상에 비교하자면 해상도에 해당.
소리의 한 '순간'을 몇비트로 나타내느냐를 의미함.
16 bit, 24 bit 등이 있음. CD는 16 bit.

Sample Rate
동영상에 비교하자면 fps 에 해당.
소리를 초당 몇개의 샘플로 나타내는가를 의미함.
CD는 원래 44.1kHz였으나 나중에 48kHz가 도입.

Sample Rate의 수치
The DVD specification allows both 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz (and multiples), as does the HDMI TV standard (2003), which provides compatibility with DVD players, while the Blu-ray Disc standard (2006) uses 48 kHz only.

Pro Tools 에서 Audio Import 를 할때 audio의 sample rate가 session과 다를 경우
Apply SRC 라는 체크박스에 체크해야 하는데 이는 Apply Sample Rate Conversion 의 약자이다
